We applaud Mrs. Lilaben Kapasi for her positivity, determination, and optimism. Her great efforts have transformed the organization from a small plant into a towering banyan tree.
Many have written about this journey, but she has made a significant step toward women's empowerment. Her thoughtful presence helps us continue making progress.
Her complete dedication, even in difficult situations, serves as an inspiration. We pray that her inspiration and blessings continue to guide us.
We pay tribute to this organization with a commitment to be a lifeline for women as well.
On the auspicious occasion of 08-09-2011, "Dikari nu Ghar" will be inaugurated. People often donate with specific prices in mind, but Shri Rasikbhai Manekchand Dhariwal will inaugurate this institute. I wished to be present, but our Gachchadhipati and the Bangalore Chikpeth Sangh are insisting on my presence for Mandir Pratishtha in Chitpeth during the Vikram Savant 2067-68 Chaturmas.
Therefore, I had no option but to send Sadhvivarya Vanchayamashri (Ben M.) in my place, even if it causes some inconvenience. Mrs. Shobhaben Rasiklal, Ms. Jahanvi, and enthusiastic worker Mrs. Dollarben are also very satisfied. In the shadow of Shri Shantrujay Tirth and Adinath Dada, this organization is creating a wonderful atmosphere, which inspires many donors to contribute.
Every organization is driven by dedicated and loyal workers with transparency in administration and a plan to develop new dimensions regularly. We pray that Prabhu Adinath Bhagwan, Prabhu Parshvanath Bhagwan, and Mata Padmavati Mata bless the institution of "Daughter's Home" to achieve its sacred purpose.
By donating, Shri Rasikbhai assured this organization that “Aap aange badho, hum tumhare saath hai“ (You move forward, we are with you). The IT college unit being inaugurated is also progressing well. Mr. Kishorbhai, Mr. Chinubhai, Mrs. Susilaben Kapasi, and Shri Kantilal Naranadasabhai are always vigilant for the development of institutions and consistently make donations.
In the land of Shri Siddhachal Mahatirtha, under the shadow of Shri Adishwar Prabhu, there is an organization called "Dikari nu Ghar". This organization, started by Smt. Lilabahen Kapasi under the initiative of "Shri Bhagini Mitra Mandal," aims to provide a nurturing environment, akin to a father’s house.
"Dikari nu Ghar" signifies a sacred home where the values of Brahmi and Sundari are upheld. Brahmi represents pure intellect and wisdom, while Sundari embodies penance and renunciation, having fought against the allure of lust for 60,000 years.
At Dikari nu Ghar, under the guidance of Lord Adinath and inspired by the virtues of Brahmi and Sundari, a brilliant and virtuous environment is created through patience and dedication.
In this era of progress, we must each fight for ourselves and uphold our values. India reveres mothers and wives, and daughters are celebrated as embodiments of Saraswati. Women possess an innate ability to perceive and counteract malevolence, fostering unity among men through introspection.
Therefore, "Bhagini Mitra Mandal" should remain vigilant in development, cultivating a spirit of auspiciousness and resilience. Women should not bow to adversity but instead strengthen themselves against the injustices of the world. Bhagini Mitra Mandal's initiative is to protect and cherish this divine gift of daughterhood, ensuring that women can turn life's challenges into opportunities.
During Vikram Savant 2065, Dollarben Kapasi was introduced at the Siddhachal Chaturmas, recognizing her as a daughter of Lilaben Kapasi. Gurudev Rajyassurishwarji acknowledged the value of Shri Sevantibhai Kapasi and encouraged support for Dollarben.
Rasikbhai Shobhaben visited Pujya Gurudev multiple times during Chaturmas, discussing Dikari nu Ghar and providing substantial donations. This initiative reflects the vision of Gurudev and the commitment to nurturing brave, virtuous women like Brahmi, Sundari, Gargi, Maitry, Anupama, Ansuya, and Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi.
Introduction: To rescue women from exploitation, empower them financially, and help them regain their dignity in society and family, the "Bhagini Mitra Mandal" was established in Palitana on 13-07-1957. This organization, founded by the late Smt. Lilaben Kapasi, who was honored by the Gujarat government and received the Mother Teresa Award, has successfully reestablished countless families and financially empowered a similar number of women.
In 2008, a significant milestone was reached when the organization was renamed to "Smt. Kamalaben Shantilal Kapasi Bhagini Mitra Mandal - Palitana," following a generous donation from the philanthropist, Shri Chinubhai Himatlal Shah. This new name marked the beginning of a new chapter of success for the organization.
The Bhagini Mitra Mandal of Palitana is considered a spiritual hub for women in the community. Palitana, home to the sacred Shatrunjaya Dham of the Jains, is renowned for its profound spiritual practices. The organization conducts various programs focusing on the economic, social, familial, and educational upliftment of women.
The organization’s extensive network includes lifelong members, 3,136 shareholders, 1,500 trainees, and around 60 women seeking guidance daily. It also supports 60 women through employment via the organization’s managed industries and provides advanced computer education to 358 students, alongside 32 elderly beneficiaries. This broad scope has earned the organization national recognition.
Starting from a rented room, the organization has now grown into a major support system, addressing women's issues and providing a nurturing environment. The inception of the organization was driven by the dedicated efforts of prominent social workers in Palitana.
Founding Director Smt. Lilaben Kapasi dedicated her life to the protection and empowerment of women. Her legacy was further strengthened by the first president, Smt. Bhuwaneswariben Desai, who came from a prestigious family and was the wife of the then-session judge of Palitana. Her long-term vision fortified the foundation of the organization, along with notable contributions from Smt. Kantaben Bavishi, Smt. Ramaben Dodhari, Smt. Manglabhen Bagdiya, and Smt. Lilaben Bakraniya.
Notable Achievements of the Organization:
We celebrate the positive attitude, determination, and optimism of Smt. Lilaben Kapasi. Her relentless efforts have transformed the organization from a small seed into a flourishing banyan tree, providing empowerment and support to thousands of women.
